So actually I made this pie years ago. I didn't know I would end up making so many, let alone a pie blog. Perhaps you are thinking, "Pies? Why pies?" Well when I did celebrate Thanksgiving, we would drive to Oxnard and make a full turkey dinner with my cousins. My mother and I it seemed where assigned the pies. Pies has always been my favorite dessert and I have come to realize (and I know this may sound silly) but making pies is truly an art. I have yet to master them though. Thursday, April 28, 2011

The Perfect Pie
....in brief because it's 3 min to midnight and I have to catch some ZZZ's.... ;)
I started Schookies pies at the multiple suggestions of friends and family. I have been a pie lover for as long as I can remember. I'm on a journey to make the perfect pie. It turns out pies are pretty hard to make. But when you have the support of several friends and family, anything is possible... so, hopefully I won't be a big flake like my family blog and never update this blog site. We shall see. In the mean time, today is my first post. As I like to say, buenos nachos my sweetie pies! ;)
